Centenary second Channel Crossing (1)

On May 21st 1910, Jacques de Lesseps, became the second man to cross the English Channel in an Aircraft. He flew in a Bleriot XI, similar to the one used by Louis Bleriot.

Our preparations for the crossing on May 21st 2010 are well on the way.

Mike de Lesseps, the grand son of Jacques de Lesseps is honoring our efforts with a visit to Calais to encourage our crossing.

The aircraft has just undergone intensive inspection by Pitet Air Service in Epinal, France.
