The aftermath

And, of course there were a lot of polemics in the newspapers and the pilot community after this week-end. But we think that we should forget the centenary and look forward. Let's stay fairplay, among our fellow pilots, congratulations as well for the two french pilots. Well done.

Let's keep our aircraft out of the political arena and leave the dirty business to the few who have no clue what aviation passion is all about.

In the aftermath of this huge deception we decided that the crossing will be done. If not in 2009 then in 2010. Michael Carlson did not wait that long. He made the crossing the next day.

  CONGRATULATIONS MICHAEL.

The next step to take was to register the aircraft on the LX (Luxembourg) registry. Altough the authorities were very supportive this took us longer than expected. Especially over the summer holidays. The aircraft will now be registred as LX-TEC in Luxembourg.

VERY SADLY WE HAD TO CANCEL SOME OF THE AIRSHOWS THIS SEASON BECAUSE THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT FULLY READY AND REGISTRED.
